So, at what point is it spoilers anymore when the companies spoil things months in advantage? And… why do this?

  1. The only reason why I will read this book is because of wally, dick, Yara and some of the younger characters, I feel like DC comics is digging it's grave because I don't see why you would be the spoiler of your story🤔🤔🤔 I'm really confused and hurt because I love DC stories but this is the embodiment of confusion and why is pariah the villain of this story I thought it was the darkness, at least marvel is doing a little good with judgement day.

  2. This has been done before. In the Obsidian Age they killed off the Justice League and Nightwing led a new group into battle and literally brought back to life the first Justice League.

  3. One of these days I'm just gonna make my own comic publishing company and make my own stuff, lol
Even better if it overtakes all this mainstream crap we see nowadays

  4. Wow, they should make a movie like that! in fact, make it like 2 movies, they could all die at the end of the first one, then the ones left could go back to bring back the others in the second! and just like with a snap of the fingers or something! how cool and original and groundbreaking would that be!!

  5. And, give that the one cover show the JLA positioned with Barry Allen, would seem to be a strong indicator that they have been moved to Multiverse-2 as was shown for Barry at the end of Infinite Frontier…

  6. I expected DC to make such an announcement after the Justice League died six months down the road. I guess DC had no patience in waiting. It's totally pointless in killing them off in the first place.

  7. That's a bummer. Despite people trashing dark crisis online, I was still excited. I knew the consequences were gonna be undone in the future but I didnt realize it was immediate. I'm still hoping for a good story

  8. Since this will not affect the regular titles, they have made it very easy to skip the stand alone pocket event entirely and never know the difference. Unless you buy comics for the art, in which case you might still buy issues drawn by your favorite(s) but probably wouldn't have bought the rest anyway.

The next event I'd like to see would be if a new boss takes over and says, "We're going to kill off all the characters whose titles consistantly fail to sell 20,000 copies (or pick your own number, I'm not an expert on DC Comics sales numbers).

  9. Lest we forget that the "death of the justice league" happened pretty recently coming out of Trinity War and into Forever Evil. They were then back by the end of Forever Evil…

  10. Uh… if you have a problem with this.. you reeeeeally aren't intelligent enough to remain a fan. It's okay. The genre isn't for you. This is about highlighting the rest of the DCU and legacy. And that's okay. The constant whining about OBVIOUS superhero tropes truly ridiculous. No the main heroes of DC aren't going to permanently die. They will be shunted away for the legacy counterparts, Titans, Young Justice, and 5G/Future State generation to be spotlighted like the JSA were early post crisis in Limbo. Times like this I'm embarrassed at how pathetic neckbeard ' comic book guy' fanboy culture has become.. if you are over 30 years old and are complaining you have OUTGROWN THE GENRE.

  11. The impending Crisis Crossover Event will retcon the deaths of every major DC character?
So what you are telling me then, Perch, is that the sky is blue….

  12. As with no many corporate comics decisions for too long now: I have to ask, "What is the point?" When you "spoil" that the heroes will "immediately" be restored to life in Dark Crisis, why would anyone feel invested in buying/reading Death of the Justice League? It sounds like Death of the Justice League could've been skipped. Instead, perhaps the death of one of the cosmically supreme characters of god-like power beginning the setup for whatever reveal is in Dark Crisis.
