In the New Year, another natural disaster struck the United States. On Friday January 7th, New York and New Jersey experienced their first heavy snowfall this season. Due to weather conditions, hundreds of flights have been canceled at New York airports. Cars are now moving around the city at a low speed. There have been hundreds of road accidents. Residents are asked to be careful on the roads and use public transport whenever possible. The townspeople were also urged to plan the route in advance due to possible delays. The road services reported that they have at their disposal 700 machines for processing roads with salt, as well as 1.6 thousand snow plows that will clean the streets of the city in the coming days, work will be carried out around the clock. In New Jersey, Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency that began at 10 pm Thursday.
