I worked in an autobody shop years ago that was always busy and I wondered how so many cars got damaged, some of them very badly. These dashcam videos show why, people are maniacs behind the wheel all the time. And if anyone remembers from the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, a news reporter says in that movie that he's filming all the time and has never captured a car accident as it happens on film, which was true back then. Now with cameras everywhere these type videos are everyday common.

Nice vid. A little advice if I may. Drop the term accident. And replace with collision. The police, insurance companies and even traffic reporters don’t use the term accident.

You know, more of these videos than not the drivers that have someone pull out in front of them or into them from the side could have easily stopped or avoided any collision. But instead it looks like they actually speed up a little bit then brake at the last second when you can clearly see a collision is eminent. law enforcement needs to examine these videos a little more closely for this. It happens a lot in these videos. The drivers in the cam car are really lame. They could have easily avoided the accident
