Martial Arts Instructor Reacts: Banshee – Damien Sanchez Vs Lucas Hood

Banshee is an American action television series created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler originally appearing on the Cinemax network beginning on January 11, 2013.

Set in the small town of Banshee in Pennsylvania Amish country, the series’ main character is an enigmatic ex-con (Antony Starr), who assumes the identity of Lucas Hood, the town’s murdered sheriff, to hide from powerful crime lord Rabbit (Ben Cross). Imposing his own brand of justice, Hood attempts to reconcile with his former lover, Rabbit’s daughter Anastasia (Ivana Miličević), who has herself adopted an assumed identity, married, and raised a family during Hood’s incarceration. Hood struggles to maintain his new identity while still embracing crime alongside his partners Job (Hoon Lee) and Sugar (Frankie Faison), and coming into conflict with local kingpin Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen).

  1. Can you please make more fight scenes from banshee?! xD This is one of my favourite shows ever! Just watched the last episode again today!

  2. 4:15 biting really doesn't work that well, the ear yeah a bit but with biting all you have to do is push whatever theirs biting i into their mouth it hurts. So when he bit the leg all the fighter would need to do is just extend his leg a bit or sit up and he has a good chance dislocating the jaw

  3. Banshee is one of the best fighting/mma & martial arts series ever made. Lots of great fights and moments; the only show I can think of with better fights is Warrior.

  4. Fight clearly shows the difference between martial arts as it is today (Sports based) and factual self defence: brutal, anything goes style of fighting. Something fight Sports fanboys will never understand.
Good to see you make that clarification.
    Always enjoy your reactions.

  5. Max, do you realize that on a phone your videos all say “Martial Arts Instructor Reacts…” and your can’t read the rest. So they all look the same, and you can’t pick out one that looks interesting because almost all of them say the same thing in the title.

  6. Banshee is such a good show
    Seriously though
Look here at YouTube for Banshee Burton vs. Nola.
Crazy fight and only a few minutes long.

  7. My Karate instructor in Japan told me to avoid fighting 'religiously', and to leave before any blows are attempted, then if followed, try to run because running doesn't kill you. If they run after you, grapple and sink your teeth into their throat, and rip a chunk out…they won't follow you after that–even crazy people

  8. One of my favourite fights from Banshee, and most people don't mention it, is Ana vs Olek. It's a brutal fight, but is interspersed with a lot of flashbacks.
