Rest In Peace Daisy and so sweet of that intuitive puppy. I had to make the same decision for my dear 13 yr old dog Bella who was at the end stage of heart decease and it’s a hard decision to make. When it’s obvious they’re in pain after trying everything and no longer enjoying life….that’s when you know … different for everyone of course
She had a happy life with you Takis just remember that and you can't save them all, sweet dreams baby RIP ??

I understand, when the kidneys get involved, there is no hope.Lost my wonderful male cat to kidney failure .He was suffering,you had to do it, Takis.Im saying a little prayer for you right now.

Poor Daisy, some get through their kidney problems like Irma did, if she was suffering and the treatment was not working then it was the right thing to do. Rip Daisy.
I think the puppy needs her mum now to cuddle up to when she sleeps.

So heart breaking! Unfortunately, we are all headed in the same direction, we are all bound to go, I’m just glad, she spend her last moments being cared for and loved and not in the streets alone and in pain. Thank you Takis, you are their guardian angel and give these beautiful souls the unconditional love they deserve, the kind of love they also give us. Malic acid and salt will soften any calcification which could be the result of dead parasites clogging the kidneys or something similarly substantial. I am surprised that no vet has figured this out yet. I wonder why they can't be back-flushed. Past a certain point will remove it to the bowel.

Damn, I tear up every time. As I am sure everyone knows, she finally found a place of love and peace at Takis Shelter. I like to think the puppy is there to assist Daisy part-way on her journey. That is one special puppy.
