VET Rescue: Saving Nemo Part 2 is WA2S Films’ homage to the Vet Ranch series – giving us an opportunity to share updates on the dogs from the Rescuing Rogue series. Save more dogs here: http://www.WA2S.org/donate

Nemo was rescued by Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue and taken to Center Line Veterinary Hospital where he is getting excellent treatment and being nursed back to health.

This dog Max (NEMO) is in the care of Terri and the vet, and WA2S Films has been asked to provide raw footage to assist prosecution for animal cruelty. Look for a follow up soon. Nemo is looking for a new family. Stay tuned for another update on Nemo soon.

Tree trimmers in Detroit alerted Terri Sumpter of Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue about 3 injured and starving dogs spotted in the back yard of a house on the NW side of the city.

  1. Did Nemo find a forever home? I’m really glad that you guys carefully vet prospective owners. Seeing Nemo’s history underscores how important that is. I used to think that the euthanized dogs were the ones that were most unfortunate, but sadly, I now know that that’s not true. ?

  2. I am so glad that not only do you perform Vet checks on the potential adopters pets but that you do home checks too toake sure the home they would be going I to is safe and has proper fencing.

  3. Wow amazing! The people who had him before were lying because clearly, they were not feeding the dog and because the guy had 2 other dogs who were healthy he had to know he was starving the dog! What a POS! This makes me so mad! But I am glad Nemo is on the greener pastures and surrounded by loving people who will give him the care he deserves!

  4. I swear I want to punch those arrogant owners acting dumb…like don't get a dog if you don't wanna take care of them.he's literally such a sweet doggo ??

  5. God bless all you tree guys that can see far more than ordinary neighbors. Some sweet dog lover was outraged and… Acted!!!! You are much appreciated!!

  7. Why is his tail still wrapped? I know at the very tip he had some hair loss but now a lot of his tail is wrapped? Also , thank you to all involved but a real shout out to the tree trimmer who called you about them in the first place. Without him…none of this would have been possible!

  8. Depresses me that there is no end to abandoned and abused dogs. As a civilized country we have to have stronger laws helping these defenceless animals. Put the abusers in jail, levy heavy fines and ban them from lifetime ownership of pets. These people who do these to pets do the same to their human kind, they just don't know better. Look at nemo's family, the dogs they own don't have a chance. These people probably are not taking care of themselves like they should. Shudder to think about the kids that are born to these types of people. What kind of chances they will have with them as role models? Black people stand up these are the people u need to help if u want to change the negative generalization of your people. Not fair but this is the truth. Their reputation is your reputation. I know, I am a minority as well in this white world.
