MLB LIFE-THREATENING Injuries Compilation

MLB LIFE-THREATENING Injuries Compilation
Spread The Viralist

This is a compilation of life-threatening injuries in the MLB. Many of these are line drives straight back at the pitcher. Only one was a backswing hitting the catcher and none were collisions. If this does well then I will make a past two. Also, I did include the players exiting the game because I think when the fans clap when they exit are just really cool moments. Enjoy 🙂

Here at Shags, I post sports content as much as I can! I post everything from compilations to highlights to mixtapes and so much more! If you want a specific video made, put it in the comments and I will make it!

  1. SuBsCrIbE so we can hit 12k by the end of the year! Also, your guys’ video ideas will be coming back soon…. just give me this week!

  2. Segura took that baseball to the face, that with the speed of the ball and mass, it’s equivalent to a heavyweight boxer throwing a hard cross!!!! No gloves either!!!!!

  3. played pitcher in travel league as a kid. one day my other friend was pitching and i was on 3rd. he threw a pitch and the batter hit it and it flew directly at his face knocking some of his teeth out… then they put ME in to pitch for him after that, i was terrified and i could never fully play baseball again. i was too scared to step close to the plate when batting and i was terrified of pitching. i stopped playing altogether shortly after that

  4. When the other teams catcher signaled for the seguras team, that is what sports are. Guys looking out for each other.

  5. Notice nobody from the other teams come to see if they are ok. The other teams are like, nope, not in my contract to show compassion for the other team.

  6. How is a ball hitting his covered hand a " life threatening injury"? It's not a bullet ffs, I knew baseball was for pussies but I didn't realize how much.

  7. It looks like the play would halt and runners stay where they are when something like this happens. Also why are the people clapping when someone is carried off the field? I can see if they can walk off the field.

  8. I understand they’re in the middle of the game, but if I hit the ball back at the pitcher in the head and he goes down like that, I’m saying fuck the out and I’m running over to him. Why would you continue running the bases? Go fuckin check on the guy Jesus Christ

  9. I don't understand, they can see ball coming, missing great opportunity there. Either catch it or just hit the ball. Isn't that the name of the game

  10. I know of a couple that you DIDN'T show……
    1. On May 17, 1973, Bobby Valentine was playing the outfield for the California Angels in a game at Anaheim Stadium versus the Oakland Athletics. While attempting to catch a home run hit by Dick Green, his spikes caught in the chain link outfield fence, and he suffered a multiple compound leg fracture.
    2. In a game at Dodger Stadium in 1976, catcher Steve Yeager, waiting in the on-deck circle, was hit in the neck by a piece of a shattered bat off of a ground ball hit by teammate Bill Russel. The jagged piece of wood pierced his esophagus, requiring surgery.

  11. Im glad that catcher wasnt rude when the batter got hit in the face he called time and was not being sour

  12. The one with the catcher getting whalloped by the batter and the batter then standing there smirking pisses me off. You have to be in control of your bat.
