Animal Rescue Corps and Gibson County Sheriff’s Office Rescue Approximately 100 Animal from Puppy Mill

Humboldt, TN – Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) assisted the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office today in the rescue of approximately 100 dogs found living in extremely neglectful conditions at a breeding facility at a home in Gibson County, TN, about two hours west of Nashville. All of the animals were seized by the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.
Adult dogs and newborn litters of puppies of a variety of small breeds were found crowded into small crates and pens, exposed to extremely high levels of ammonia and without access to adequate water. The dogs were suffering from untreated, painful eye infections, respiratory conditions, dental issues, severe matting that limited their mobility and vision, and urine-soaked, feces-caked fur.
ARC safely removed the animals from the property and transported them to an emergency shelter set up by ARC for this rescue, dubbed Operation Home for the Holidays. Each animal will receive a thorough veterinary exam, appropriate vaccinations, and any necessary medical treatment. ARC will provide daily care until they are placed with shelter and rescue organizations around the country that will ultimately adopt them into loving homes.

This is exactly why, I will NEVER EVER!!! stop my monthly donation , it's the very least I can do for these angels , my part is nothing compared to yours, you guys are the ones who really support these animals , HOWEVER, EVERYONE READING THIS…… now more then EVER our financial support is needed! The holiday season is such a horrible time for these animals , they are breeding them harder then ever at these times , so please everyone anything you can afford , please donate , these rescues are extremely costly and so important without the funds to make this happen these animals will die horrible inhumane deaths , And even if they don't , with the conditions they live in , it's not a life any living thing deserves !! Please help in any way you can, these angels deserve so much better, Let them find out what LOVE and contentment and comfort is! Laying on a couch snoring, feeling SAFE, and comfortable , with a shiny coat of fur, a full belly and a loving family is what every animal should know daily, NOT confinement , filth , stench , hunger , pain , and discomfort , not to mention all the emotional trauma these animals go through just from being alone all the time, it's more then sad it's pathetic that anyone could watch this happen, let alone participate in it!! Despicable! PLEASE HELP EVERYONE!!! you won't miss the 20 bucks a month I promise (they also have other denomination options as well) the impact it makes on you is nothing compared to the impact it will make for them!
I have the room and heart to foster, my only hold backs are getting the puppies/dogs to me here in Winston-Salem, and the cost of the food. I have three dogs, two med size dogs boxer/pit mix 2yrs old, 13 black lab, and 15 yr old terrier mix. I probably handle two or three small dog's , I don't have a fenced in yard, we make trips to the dog parks, besides walking. I am willing and able to Foster ! angelamcfadyen21558@yahoo.com
