30. My mom is 90 years old. 6 years ago someone left a box in front of her house. To her surprise, there was a cute chiweeny puppy inside. My mom named her Mari which is short for mariposa (butterfly in Spanish). Since then those two have been inseparable. I thank god that Mari came into my mom’s life. She, too, had recently lost my father and was very depressed. Mari has given mom a reason to enjoy life again.

44. I hope that I am half as spry at 84. What a winning combo. They are so blessed to have each other. May they have many long years together. My soul mate – hmmmm I have had many through the years. Love all my fur babies equally. I could never decide on just one. ❤

45. Nan and Sally a love story. They are a cheeky little pair of pals! My Mom and our little Rat Terrier were the same way. She was my girl's Grandmama and they adored each other. When my Mom became quite ill our pupper would get between her Gran and the home health nurse etc. and push them away from her beloved then hug her Grandmama. When my adored Mom passed away our girl was lost. She cried a lot for days and I just held her, we grieved together. My baby passed away a little over a year after my Mom at 15 1/2 years old. I know they are in heaven together with my Dad all young healthy and happy again. Cheers fellow dog lovers.
