Two-year-old Indali Hi-Way is a rare elephant that survived the deadly EEHV in June 2019. It was groundbreaking work for the Chester Zoo. A real survivor. Half-sister Anjan is happy to still have a playmate with and they’re just so happy and cute playing in the sand.

Such wonderful news! So many baby eles succumb to that horrible disease. And The Chester Zoo has lost, I believe, two to it. The tv show about the zoo showed it happening, their attempts to fight it, & the heartbreaking results, about a year or two ago. I'm so thankful this baby made it.?
