  1. We had a cat that answered the pbone. It would ring and he would bat the receiver off of it's base while we were out. And people would think we were on the phone all day when it was just lie there. He also put his arm under the door and rattled it loudly. He undid the latch to the bathroom window and terrorized the neighborhood dogs. Bucky was an original. He couldn't actually hurt those dogs. He was declawed. That was many years ago before we realized that was NOT a good thing, but it never held him back. He died of heart disease. I miss him.

  2. All cats need purrpuss in their lives. House guard, barn guard, baby sitter, temporary foster pawrent, or simply a troublemaker clown. I never train my cats to do anything. I just let them choose their own roles in my house. Most of them choose being sofa warmer or food tester.

  3. When my mother brought home three tuxedo kittens home to foster, One of our current cats at the time(a white short-haired, green eyed cat named Dilly) Had tried to be the father of these three kittens And took care of them like they were his own. We had two boys and a girl. One of the boys we called Squeakers, The other boy was named Sylvester, And one girl we named Fluffers. Dilly was also rescue, but he tried everything he could to parent these three kittens. Squeakers was the most vocal kitten we had ever seen and sometimes, Dilley would shove squeakers Into a box in the middle of the night as if to say Be quiet. The humans are sleeping. He tried to give the kittens some guidance and eventually how to behave in their new home. One of the funniest moments I can remember was that fluffers got a piece of candy cane stuck to her paw. Sometimes if U Foster kittens when you have another cat already, that feisty feline Might become a temporary foster parent for that one or several set of kittens. . You'd be surprised by what cats can do? When you're actually fostering kittens. Just make sure that your cat is actually nice and respectful to the kittens. Additionally, Don't be afraid to have dogs around the kittens. . If you think that it's a serious issue if the dog is with the kittens and is aggressive with them, hide the cats and kittens from that dog and be careful..

  4. That last part about the shades, … my parents owned a male cat who would beat up other cats in the house, so they would feed him. He would rough house a cat and look at my parents, like … get the point? Or you want me to continue? They couldn't be mad at him, he was so sweet (to them!) and incredible charasmatic.

  5. We foster kittens. My cat Hugo LOVES the fosters! He is JUST like Pokey. This was so much fun to watch. I really see my cat in Pokey. Pokey, you are wonderful.
