Your favourite lifeguards are back!

Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.

In ‘Bondi Rescue’ the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxy, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

  1. People really under estimate the power of a current, I'm a water polo player and a swimmer since I was 2 , I experienced a current before tried calling help from lifeguard but gave up and dealt with the current without fighting it just taking deep breaths when I could and eventually after 10 mins I was fine

  2. I was at island beach state park in New Jersey and I am a strong swimmer thank God Bc waves after waves after waves were hitting me and I was going under and I decided to swim diagonal and got out and I was waving my arms Bc I was weak. No one helped me. I was floating and my friend saw me and she held me and brought me back to the beach. And the life guards were just laughing and talking and I was pissedddddd.

  3. The last rescue of the video there was like 8 people in danger and they saved them? And when they said “leaving the last life guard on the beach” AND THE LAST ONE WENT INTO THE WATER ANYMORE PEOPLE IN DANGER AND THEY FINNA DIE

  4. Tourism Australian must start educating travellers to our country, that swimming at our beaches is NOT for those who cannot strongly swim. The number of deaths or rescues that are carried out on eg Japenese or Greek tourists who think our beaches are like their milder waved beaches/bays, is unbelievable. Education is a must to save lives before coming here
