Hi everyone, meet Chance! As many of our followers know, our rescue does our best to take in these special cases similar to our very own Batman, the Awesome Wheelchair Dog. Chance is an adorable 2.5mo old English bulldog who was brought to the shelter and set for euthanasia. Poor Chance had suffered from broken bones and deformity of the arms and legs at such a young age. When we saw this poor boy we saw his drive to live and his potential. We know Chance will need a lot of love and support during this process so we are hoping with the help of the public, together we can give this little guy a second chance! Please help us share Chances story and consider sponsoring towards his ongoing care! Anything helps!

  1. God bless you all and thanks very very much from the bottom of my heart ❤️ for helping rescuing saving and caring for this poor helpless dog ? ??❣️??.

  2. I do not believe this puppy was BORN with broken bones, that's impossible. Not completely fully formed, sure, but not broken. I believe this pup had a bit of a lef deformation upon birth and given how heavy the pup was at the time, was just unable to get up with it's stumpy extra curvy deformed legs and that caused the pup to be lame. You can see in thwe X-rays that the bones were CUT to adjust the straighness. And because of this, the vet decided to lock the pups front right elbow all together (which was the better leg at the time of birth) creating more if an issue that if you had just given the pup wheels to begin with. I believe the surgery of breaking/cutting the bones to straighten the leg was unnecessary and all the pup needed was some water therapy, more physical therapy and sone wheels to help support all the weight on the extra curved bones. The back legs faired rather well as an adult considering they were in the same situation as the front. Poor pup went through all those months of surgery for no reason at such a pivital point of mental development when he should have been playing and learning. Thank you so much for giving him a second chance and not euthenizing, but I do belive the surgeries were innecassary. Again, thank you. He seems happy
