Police body cam video #1 – Clovis police have released lapel video of an officer who was shot last week (August 28, 2016). Police say an officer pulled over 34-year-old Anthony Baca last week while he was on a bicycle. Baca took off running and eventually shot the officer in the leg. After several days on the run, Baca turned himself in through a lawyer. He’s facing several charges including aggravated assault on a police officer.
Police body cam video #2 – A body camera mounted to a Las Cruces police officer captures an encounter with Jose Salas on December 22, 2014. Authorities say Salas shot and killed himself with a stolen police firearm. A state autopsy for Salas, who was shot multiple times by law enforcement officers, could not determine which gunshot wound caused his death.
Police dash cam video #3 – Three McMinnville police officers involved in the fatal November 15, 2014 shooting of Juventino Bermudez-Arenas, who had just stabbed to death Linfield College student Parker Moore at the counter of a convenience mart, acted reasonably and lawfully, according to a report released late Monday afternoon by Yamhill County District Attorney Brad Berry. Police dash cam video #4 – Exclusively-obtained dash-cam video shows Dontrell Stephens, 20, talking on a cell phone while riding his bike on a Friday morning in September 13, 2013. He can be seen turning onto Norma Elaine Road near Haverhill Road and Okeechobee Boulevard as PBSO deputy Adams Lin trails him. Moments later, Stephens realizes he’s being followed. He pulls over, gets off his bike with a cell phone in his right hand and walks toward the deputy. For approximately four seconds Stephens is out of frame only to be seen again when being shot four times. Police dash cam video #5 – The footage, recorded on the police car’s dash-cam, shows the Florida officer unleashing five bullets as he backs away from schizophrenic Lavall Hall, 25, who remains out of shot (February 15, 2015). The video contradicts an earlier explanation of the killing given by Miami Gardens police, who told reporters in the aftermath that Mr Hall had attacked officers with a broom stick. Before the shooting, an officer can be heard shouting “get on the f****** ground or you’re dead”, before five shots are fired. Mr Hall was hit by two of the bullets, suffering fatal injuries. Police CCTV camera video #7 – Jumping a Walgreen’s countertop and holding a knife to a pharmacist’s throat was the last thing a Cincinnati man did Monday before an officer shot and killed him. At about 2:30 a.m. Monday (August 22, 2016), a customer in the Walgreen’s store at 1090 High Street called 911 and said an armed man jumped behind the pharmacy counter in the back of the store, according to Hamilton Police Chief Craig Bucheit. The caller also alerted the clerk in the front of the store, who went to check on the pharmacist. “Based on the pharmacist’s response, she thought something was suspicious,” Bucheit said of the clerk. Two officers initially arrived at the store — one nine-year veteran male officer, the other a one-year veteran female officer. “The officers arrived in approximately one minute,” Bucheit said. “There they saw a lone, armed suspect holding a knife to the pharmacist’s throat. He failed to comply with the officer’s commands.» Bucheit said the male officer shot and fatally wounded the suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Kelley Brandon Forte, of Cincinnati. According to a Butler County coroner’s report, Forte was pronounced dead at 9 a.m. Both responding officers are on administrative leave, per department policy. The department expects to release their names and personnel files Tuesday, according to Sgt. Brian Robinson.
