Exposed to the cruelty of extreme weather, burning under the sun or
freezing in the rain, with her skin and eyes destroyed and covered
with wounds from glass, nails and thousands of insect bites.
Maya’s life has been hell on earth. But that ended yesterday when,
after a rescue that lasted more than 12 hours, MAYA reached our
hospital.

I can MAYBE understand not immediately rescuing a healthy dog. But, to see a dog like this who is old, sad, unhealthy, in cold, rain, heat, hungry, sores, etc and NOT do anything!! Is beyond words!! How devastating to never be touched by a loving hand or played with, talked to daily as if you mattered!! If this person freed her….I applaud them an THANK them!! There are just soooo many an each ONE does matter!! Think of ALL the ones who dont get rescued, the ones who NEVER get to feel that loving touch an the true LOVE that they ALL deserve!!??? THANKS for ALL YOU do!!!! Whoever did the rescue…..I have all the RESPECT for YOU an those who helped!! WOW!!! Seeing the tail wag at 2;47 was freedom!!

Maya's tail was wagging in the van. She was eager to get in the van not knowing where she was going; but, I believe she knew she was going to a better place, your Hospital with all the kind loving staff. Thank you to all. She is a very pretty dog & will be even prettier when she gets well. Yes, you can tell she is a very kind & loving dog despite all she been through. If only we humans could have a measure of the bravery & kindness these abused animals have!!! The world would be a better place!!
