Caesar taught us: the proper technique for approaching shy and/or fearful dogs is to avoid eye contact and face away from them to let them feel more comfortable. Great technique; works for me!

It is sad that she was born a pit bull. They are ugly monster killers. Come back and tell me what you think about her when you have seen her throttling your other dog or biting your child's face off. I dumped one myself because I was out of bullets. Don't bother with these dogs. They have been bred to kill and that's what they do.
