  1. WHICH shelter in Texas? Address? Better late then never. I live several states away, but black cats are my most loved, and we know here will be more.

  2. The fact that they all look identical, just makes me think that someone was purposely breeding them, and just getting rid of the ones that wouldn't sell, black coats etc. :/ Edit: Nvm, read the info page, these are just the unwanted cats from the paris shelter, where apparently they were taking horrible care of them. Yay, go humanity.

  3. Holy hell! HOW did someone end up with 39 kittens? Maybe they were all taken from a bunch of barn cat moms or something? Crazy! Poor little things. 🙁

  4. It is good that they were surrendered and in a way im proud of the person who did it for doing the right thing. Also glad there are caring animal shelters that help poor animals like those kittens.

  5. Gotta give the former owner some credit. they had the heart to surrender to a shelter and not dump on the side of the road. Let us not forget that.
Don't be so quick to get angry guys, we want to reward any effort of not doing the 'worst thing'

  6. It's great the kittens were surrendered but if the parents are not spayed/neutered, there will be another batch in 6 months. It's not hard to TNR or responsibly own an animal. Why are so many humans not able to get on board and correct this problem?

  7. This explains why de-sexing is important, but when you look at the over populated cruel world why condoms/vasectomies are imperative.

  8. And people wonder why some shelters put these animals to sleep. I hate it but there’s only so much they can do. Money doesn’t grow on trees, foods and medicines are expensive. That’s why we should spay and neuter our pets!!
So quick to shame the shelters but not willing to donate money or food. Not willing to educate ignorant pet owners about the consequences of not spaying and neutering.

My neighbours cat had kittens and when she couldn’t take care of them she just kicked them out thinking it’s a quick fix. She also went on to kick out the mama cat too. On the same day one of the kittens got hit by a car and the others + mama I rounded up and took indoors. If I left them there they would have either ended up sick or dead or go on to make more kittens. I tried explaining it to this stupid woman but she was too ignorant to give a shit so I reported her ass to the RSPCA and she went on to get a ban from owning animals for the next few years for her negligent and irresponsible behaviour. Here is the Uk this sort of shit don’t stand well.
