2. Not enough punishment!!! These creeps know their punishment is only temporary. Big deal.. sleeping in the woods for a night? Please. These abusers of animals need jail time. These are potentially
   people who will step up to hurting kids and other people as well. Abuse of innocents must STOP!! Children and animals BOTH. How about blind fold them and dump them out in a jungle somewhere with no hope. That's more like what a dog or cat would experience. Pure terror!

There should be another to take his place to carry on his good work. All states should take notice and have such a similar sercomstance aplyed in each court room . of every county in each state that has a judge presant to carry out a sentence ( equal apon an animal abuser where they they are guilty) and carried out a despicable act apon an innocent animal.. that was absolutely helpless to do anything to protect itself or get away from their horrific situation. .( please please share. And maybe a lawyer or court judge will view this COMMENT) and adopt the values and carry on the work of one man . a judge that is doing the right thing. Bless him and his wonderful family that suports his good work.

8. I thank God for this judge, at last someone who feels as I do. Humans get away too much on animal abuse cases. I pray that there are other judges out there willing to follow in this judge's footsteps. Happy retirement judge. Thank you for speaking out on behalf of our wonderful let's who get abuse.

9. Would that work with Hoarders whose mental illness blinds them to the suffering they've caused? I've just watched a Hoarders episode where an old lady starved 25 dogs, all that was left were skeletons in tiny cages. She was totally unable to see what she'd done was down to neglect.

10. One problem with this. Most cases involve starvation and physical abuse. How is a judge going to sentence an abuser to starvation or beatings or wearing a too tight collar chained up in the heat or cold without water?
    Because under the law criminals can't be harmed even if they harm others.

12. Always said that abusers of animals should get same treatment that they rushed to the poor animals , thanks to this judge it's happening and I hope that all governments wake up to the cruelty of animals . Nothing should be harmed not even rats or wasps .

18. Finely some kind of real punishment for people who abuse animals. Far to many abused animals never receive any real justice for what they were forced to endure. So sad he’s going to retire. We need justice for these animals & a slap on the wrist & short jail sentence even a fine is not enough for me. I want to see more real justice for these poor abused animals !!!

Yes I agree there should be a judge that punish animal abusers…however, did you see the guy on the horse, ya, girl who dumped whole bunch kitties in woods, she seemed to be trying out for modeling job, and really posing on a rock, didn't see anyone at smelly dump….for 8hrs really??? Looks like someone on that horse got a modeling contract…just saying…donations???, Buy something…do the work..just like we all have to..where's that judge?? I wish this was true, what the fluff, check out before ✋ handing over my hard ? earned $$$..on internet oh must be true???!!! No really, where's this judge never did really hear or see any cases…just sayin. Sorry, cautious as a serpent….

21. So if the animal was beaten, starved, left in pain for days, used as bait in dog fights, or abandoned in a rubbish bin, the owner was? If not, why not? Punishment should fit the crime.

23. WE NEED LOTS MORE PEOPLE IN HIGH LEVELS TO DO THIS ALL OVER WORLD. But I believe it should be a lot worse than what hes doing but it's a start!!!
