This sea turtle was almost split in half by a motor boat propeller – but local rescuers managed to bring him back from the brink of death. Jose the turtle was found on Torre García beach in Almería, Spain by locals walking on the beach. Luckily they contacted Equinac – a nearby non-profit organisation who specialise in helping sea turtles and cetaceans on the coast. Equinac volunteer Juan Cruz D’Amico said: “Jose was hit by a motor boat and a family who were walking on the beach saw him and called us. They thought Jose was dead because he wasn’t moving, but he was still breathing.

I Love Turtles and i always want one since i was a kid but i know it takes alot of responsibilities but other then that i hope this little guy recovered

Honestly Ik that Releasing him back to the wild is the right thing to do but I just wanna keep all these animals under the watch of good ppl so bad things don’t happen to them ???

They should make it illegal for boats to have propellows without shields or guards
I have a pet turtle named Simon and when I first got him he only had 2 inches of water in his tank and his old owner new nothing about him at all and know we know everything and we gave him a 10 gallon tank filled half way and he is very happy now. My turtle wished him a great recovery.??????
