The "stuff.co.nz" one at 2:30 was due to a very stupid design of the suspension bridge.
The main cable drops down BELOW the center of the gravity of the traffic on the deck which makes the bridge unstable to support the weight on the deck so of course the deck twisted (AND DID NOT "collapse").
