  1. Guys just checked Sookie's insta she got adopted on 9-Sep so in a way this vdo paid off let's just b positive abt it. Not all good things come instantly…she waited 7yrs why r we fighting over 10 days out of which two days she lived like a princess. Good job guys no effort goes vain…???

  2. This pisses me off. You didn't bother to ask why she's been in the shelter for so long. So now we have a dog who wasn't taught how to tolerate other dogs. You conveniently didn't have your other dog home. You took this one out on a long loose leash and you had no control over her and you were trying to negotiate with her about her aggression. Huh? No I think we need a trainer? No hey shelter what's wrong with this dog. We have another dog and we need to know if that one can be safe. So you say OK we'll dump this dog back into the shelter for another fricken 7 years and say well this dog need a family without another dog. Uh. Did you forget one thing? Taking a dog out for walks and potty time? There will be dogs! You can't keep the dog cooped up. Obviously the shelter made no attempt to temperament test with another dog and eliminate the problem so this girl could be adopted by anyone and actually take a walk without going nuts as there are other dogs taking walks with their owners. You can't avoid it and socialization needs to be done. You just dumped her back.

I was walking the other day and a girl had a very excitable Pit Bull. He wanted to meet people and got a little jumpy and as she apologized she said she had just adopted him and he's still learning. I didn't pay attention to the dog so as not to encourage this over excitement. That girl didn't give up. The dog wasn't taught how to walk on a leash or how to greet strangers politely. I have no idea whether the shelter had told her about the issue. But she didn't drop the dog back into the shelter after the first time.

Guess what! This dog most likely won't be adopted because no one wants to take the time!

  3. I really wish.. You had tried this with Suki along.. that would have allowed both of them bonding.. Or you could try a bit of training with her.. Like Victoria does.. When ever suki comes.. This girl gets a treat.. Suki leaves.. No treat.. She can be treated.. Just adopt.. and prepare for a training

  4. Her dog aggression can be easily fixed. Cesar Milan does it all the time. And you couldn't figure out a reason? Cuz she wants to attack other dogs, so how do you go on walks???

  5. You literally said she could not get along with other dogs and then you deny it by saying "The Truth Is" you could not figure out why she hasn't been adopted. She has been adopted, but they returned her for the reason you pointed out, but you have to lie and say "The Truth Is" it's the same as saying "But The Truth Is…" the next line would be a lie for sure.

  6. In a weekend u can't. Get. To. Know ur dog. Wow why is the dodo promoting this video. Like sincerely… I had my dog five years and she for no reason has bitten me. Some times for fun sometimes family problems but never harm the puppy. . my dog. Has bitten me all over my arms. But she says she loves me and I just accept everything as it comes.

  7. Like I Have a adopted pit bull. I don't Trust Her anymore. Plus she should not be walked without a muscle bosal.she could hurt another puppy. Horrible owners.

  8. This honestly is horrible. Feels semi/indirectly abusive. You think you can just show a dog what she deserves and freaking take it away from her like that, so quickly? This is horrible, HORRIBLE. I would never volunteer to adopt a dog for TWO DAYS. This is so unfair to the point that I'd consider it cruelty, even despite the circumstances shown here. I don't like this "couple"

"Here's this wonderful life out there for you. We're not willing to give you a chance, so maybe someone else will? Alright, time to bring you back to reality." I feel those vibes strongly.

Imagine if they did this to a kid going up for adoption. OML. Why can't it be seen here that this is just as cruel? Same concept. All animals are worthy of respect and dignity to the upmost degree.

  9. Has someone adopted her yet? I have a dog and a cat so I would not be able to adopt her, as she doesn’t get along with other dogs. PLEASE someone out there adopt this sweet angel. She has sooo much love to give.❤️❤️❤️❤️

  10. I think the main point of the video was to showcase how incredibly cute and sweet Sookie is, and how well she can fit into her future family’s life. From what I understand, it worked perfectly- someone updated that Instagram feed says she’s been adopted. Thanks, guys!:) Love to all!❤️

  11. This is for the comment below. They would have kept her but she doesn't get on with other dogs and they already have a one eyed dog so they thought it wouldn't work out , but yes you are right in a way they should have interacted them slowly and it might have worked who knows??

  12. I know u had her best intentions at heart but u cannot make the determination that she can’t be adopted into a home with other dogs after having her for just one weekend. There’s no reason she can’t be trained to socialize with other dogs but that’s a process that requires time and patience. Sorry but IMO, this was unfair to her, and to pits in general, to make a blanket statement that she’s aggressive towards other dogs.

  13. I too have mixed feelings… This dog could be trained, to leave other pets alone. The dog had to listen to the cries & barks of hundreds of dogs, for years. Other dogs reminded her of that, so she was trying ward off more of that, especially since she had experienced a good home. I would have given the Beagle & the Bully a chance to enjoy each other… even if I had to get a trainer involved.

  14. What an absolute sweetheart this baby is!! Her aggression towards other dogs can be sorted out, just watch how Cesar Milan turns round dogs who are labelled as aggressive, whether towards other animals or humans, and he shows how a calm assertive pack leader can reassure the dog and let them know that they don't have to defend their owner or themselves against all comers, and can be out and about and enjoy chilling. It's wonderful how he changes the dogs perception of other dogs passing by. This gorgeous, sweet souled dog will be relaxed and calm-submissive in no time, with people who are prepared to put in a little extra. Cesar can turn this girl's defences to nonchalance, so it's not permanent folks !!!

  15. Omfg I would adopt her but I have a dog already and she isn’t fond of other dogs either. I have only seen my dog get along with one other dog and sadly we moved away from that house.

  16. I like watching dodo videos of foster fails to be honest, I feel like this video is just a bad example of what to do as far taking a dog for a weekend only, I feel like the dog goes thru so much emotions and happy feelings only to be taken away after 2 days or 3 days and it could just scar them more and confuse them as to why did they lose everything all over again. I am sure they could work and train the dog's behavior to make em more sociable. Just heartbreaking to watch them go back to a kennel after being there for 7 days
