1. Why would you let a monkey kiss a baby on the mouth. I didn't allow grown people kiss my babies on the mouth. Nothing cute or funny about that.

3. So much of this is cruelty to animals. This is not funny, but sickening, truly. To teach non-human animals to do "tricks" that are amusing to humans, animals like these monkeys are beaten, whipped, starved, forced to live in cramped wooden crates, forced to wear masks, makeup and other non-essential (read harmful to monkeys to have to wear) clothing, and their spirit broken.    They often shoot the mothers and then take the babies as capturing methods.

   There is no excuse for so many of the commenters here to be as ignorant and flippant as they are: look it up!

   Humans are biologically classified as mammal primates in the genetic order of Great Apes. Please do not support zoos (which are businesses that are glorified prisons for profit: sanctuaries are one thing. Zoos are 99% NOT about conservation and won't hesitate to kill animals for replacements), animals being put in cages, neither glass nor wire, or on chains. The rest of the mammal primates (of which humans are included) are 98-99% Vegan as an entire species. Monkeys deserve personhood status legally granted by humans as they are already persons. Imagine these as your great great great grandparents, and how you would treat your ancestors. Please leave peaceful non-human animals alone in the wild (except to feed them healthy food) and let them come and go as they please, as friends. Please live Vegan. Do not support these cruel practices and please demand an end to all animal use. Thank you.

   PS–If you believe you have the right to harm non-human animals as being "inferior" to humans, then please name the trait or quality that non-human animals have, that if humans had that trait, would justify our being enslaved and/or killed for entertainment, testing, or food purposes.

   What trait would justify our being killed unnecessarily for "food" preference? Would automatically forfeit our right to life? @

   Put mathematically:

   Central nervous systemed non-human animals are "X" therefore it's okay to do "Y" to them.
   If humans are "X", is it therefore okay to do "Y" to them?

   If not, if the answer to that question is no, then the argument is morally inconsistent.
