PFT! What kinda stupid question is that? Yellowstone is just one huge volcano crater and when it blows, it'll take a lot of places with it. Mainly the states if not half of Canada as well. Maybe more than that. Who knows other than God?

Nuke a volcano would cause the most damage the ash alone could stop military aircraft from working or flying we are talking about maybe half the airforce disable or unable to provide support of any kind, death of thousands or millions in a war that's good less trouble or enemies, getting a tsunami to wipe out the west coast would take out the us naval fleets, and ground forces or radiation will cause the most deaths. Look at this video from a military perspective how much damage and disruption can we cause and focus our forces somewhere else. Its crazy but would be very effective in many ways.
