14. I have two dogs and I love them but not nearly as much as my cats. So is there something wrong with me if I don't like dogs as much? The eyebrow raise and head cock doesn't really do much for me. I do love them but maybe I'm just an ogre for never having been all mushy over dogs. Now cats on the other hand, I do get mushy over. Not sure why, seeing as I grew up with both cats and dogs. Guess, I'm just naturally a cat person and can't understand the appeal that dogs hold so strongly over people. Then again, dog people probably can't understand the appeal the strong hold on my heart cats have over me or other cat people as well. To each their own, good thing there are people who love both because seeing any animal hurt does make me sad.

35. Humans and dogs have been togheter for thousands of years in a useful symbiosis. Initially they protected human settlements from wolves at night and they changed accordingly to what humans needed at the time, wich is why breeds appear or disappear.

Is there anyone out there that has heard all this praise and good things about dogs to decide to get one, only to have your view of dogs shattered because these types of things make dogs out to be the perfect little guys when in fact that while dogs are cute and friendly and stuff they also have their fair share of flaws and can be hard to deal with if you don't give them as much attention as they want. Sometimes you could do everything right and still feel like you didn't actually treat your dog right. But no everyone just says all these good things about dogs when they might not even be for you. :/

This is cool and all, but now all types of introverts are just going to annoyingly say things like " Dogs are so much better then humans" and " Oh boy, I guess there is no point to love and social interaction if I get a dog!". Honestly this information is kinda going trigger those annoying and ignorant nobodies that can't take the time to try to get hobbies and try to socialize to not shut up about dogs.

    Lots of walks and dog parks when younger. Bought houses and property because it was GOOD FOR MY DOGS. Lol
    Lots of property to roam as they feel like it in their old age.
    Lots of car trips to the pet stores and socialization.
    They are not allowed to control the house hold but appreciate knowing their boundaries and what is expected.
    To much of a good thing or being "in charge" can be confusing for a pet.
    They are my best friends.
    Unfortunately there are people out there that hurt pets– even groomers or lab techs. Or neighbors or just mean people. Watch out. People like that lie too. It's a strange world we live in now.
