The brothers are really aggressive especially the first one who killed the cub because he wanted to be husband and the other male lion is the boyfriend sometimes they take turns cuase one or another has to hunt fight or protect
Every change of guard is fatal for the cubs.same worldover in the broad sense.not much diff between animals & humans.fear & greed ,always the common factor.

He did what he was supposed to do,or else those poor cubs and will grow with his own cubs and a war will break out,also the female knows she getting smashed anyway,so why get smashed + injured and not being able to sustain the next generation,God is gracious and merciful,but he's also wise and all knowing
The human equivalent to this is: The man makes sure he has more kids with the woman to even out the number. Example my mom had a daughter with some mo mo so when my dad came in he had 3 kids with her uno soy yo.
