13. My baby girl Tilly just turned 13 today. I adopted her when she was just two years old (11 years ago in 2007), because she wasn't a puppy anymore, so no one wanted her. It's atrocious how ageist our society is, not just amongst dogs, but it's how humans treat one another also that I find reprehensible. I'd sooner die then let Tilly go, she's my daughter. Older dogs need love too, and they are full of life and love. Don't overlook them. So glad Bandit was rescued.
