I didn't know Elephants could swim until I saw Planet Earth with video of them swimming. They are actually good swimmers. The ones in the video appeared to love swimming in the water after traveling many miles to get to the water during a drought.
Some Biologist must be stupid. How about people brought them. When they crossed the Ocean… Does that sound more logical then an Elephant swimming 100 miles? And you wonder why the education system is filled with imbeciles…

Who do you even call when you see an animal in distress? I once saw a mother duck and her gosslings stuck on a highway so I called the nonemergency animal control number for the area, and the lady ended up blowing me off saying "please hold- I have a REAL emergency on the other line." and never picked up the phone after that.
