on march 11 a young male elephant got stuck in muddy water pit at Madhihalli village in Alur taluk Hssan district in south india ( karnataka )
young elephant was came out of forest in search of food & water..
sunday night as local reported of hearing the trumpets calls for help throughout the night. then villagers reported this incident to the Hassan forest department.
then on 12 march a young elephant was rescued from the pit with the help of JCB machine.

If the onlookers would have put some dry mud by hand and fill the pothole, the elephant would have walked out much earlier.
