PS: I’m an animal lover and I love going to zoos (and aquariums). I also love sharing my zoo experiences with fellow animal lovers by posting zoo pics/videos I took during the visits. I’m not a professional photographer so my pics/videos are limited in scope and reflect only my personal impressions. However, they were made out of admiration, love and respect for the animals.
The zoos I visited are accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums of America and they have met high standards in providing excellent care for their animals. Keeping them in captivity is not ideal but it’s a compromised solution to keep them from being poached, killed and becoming extinct. I believe zoos are essential in sustaining conservation and promoting awareness and appreciation for the various animal species of our precious planet.
