10. This is a fantastic and detailed investigation and explanation. I'm still trying to understand whether the volume and velocity of water was proportionate to the glacier bedrock breakdown. I hope @shawnwillsey will have another update explaining the same.

16. I'm just catching up. This looked horrific. There has to have been thousands lost in this. That footage from high up, where you'd think they'd be safe was terrifying that it came right up to the camera. I know you've posted a couple of follow-up videos which I'm about to watch. I hope it's not as bad as I fear.

22. On July 8, 2025, a similar glacial lake outburst caused severe flooding, and the Resuo Bridge was washed away at that time.
    The location of that event, Coordinate A (28.4026°N, 85.6467°E), is less than 20 km from the site of the recent disaster.
    Looking at the earthquake statistics around Coordinate A over the past five years for events above magnitude 3 (M>3), there appears to be an increase in seismic activity in 2026.
    In theory, this suggests that there may have been an opportunity for earlier monitoring, risk assessment, and preventive action.

24. Idk, thats a lot of water to have come from solid ice in that distance. Yes mud, rock, vegetation as well. I understand a degree of melting through friction. But ive seen some huge avalanche events. All were snow up top an still snow and ice at the bottom.. dont know, just suprises me.
