if you see game and fish, just hold up a $100 bill, commonly on the take
Don't get it, why was the warden called to put down that buck that was hit by the car? In my state the cops also have the authority to put down injured animals! We have a small state but it would be silly to have to have a game warden drive for half an hour as a cop stands by waiting for him to come do a job the cop can do himself! And why let that poor animal suffer for all that extra time! We also have a network of volunteers who will come out and pick deer up who have been very recently killed by vehicles and either care for the meat themselves or take it to other volunteers who butcher them and give them to places with large freezers that keep the meat stored for the needy! We now even have many hunters who donate either part or all of their kill to the needy too!
harassing people… people willing to answer questions in 2026 is wild… like stfu and you walk.
When I was younger the fish and game were really pricks about game laws, often a family would be hard up and hard up for honest reasons and a man would "jack" a deer to feed his family and get nailed to the wall if caught. Caused a lot of hate for the wardens and it was rightly deserved. But Personally I think at least in my state they've changed and they often work with folks if caught depending on the situation but also at least in my state I just don't see a reason for poaching anymore! You need the meat just call the game wardens and they will put your name in the records for any game they get a hold of that is safe to eat, be that road kill (yes road kill deer is almost always saveable at least in part) and if they get called about it quick enough either they will take care of it or call people who will. They also get quite a few deer and other game from catching poachers and farmers like me who occasionally have to call in about deer destroying crops that refuse to be scared away and so we have to put them down. Usually the wardens will come out and inspect the damage, give us a tag to shoot the animal/animals but we have to quickly gut the animal and get it hung up and contact the warden to come and get it. I have a small butcher shop here on the homestead so if one of the workers has to take a deer etc on one of my farms they just bring it up here and we will hang it for a spell then cut it and package it for the wardens to come and get and then they go to one of the local food shelves to help those in need. I usually donate one of my deer each year as well, and if my boys come up to hunt often they will donate one of their deer each year too. We get two deer a year here during regular season plus one for black powder and one for bow season but I'm fully crippled so I just take one or two a year considering I end up taking them right out my bedroom window and then have one of the farmhands come up and care for them for me. And two deer a year is plenty for the wife and I! Of course I try to get at least ONE Turkey a year too! Grape eating little bastards they are! Grrrrr!
More Woods and River Pirates. Game Wardens are Bigger Pirates than the Somalians
Who is the investigator to say how much meat a person needs for eating? lol.
Women and cops always trying to keep a man from having a good time. Can't even go out in nature in the middle of nowhere without having to worry about the man looking to give tickets and citations.
I’m 63 n grew up in Michigan n the DNR are All corrupt, ask Ted Nugent what he thinks of them
Thugs in uniform
The lady warden is a puss lol
This is Season 5 from 2015. You should add the year and date for each episode.

I was invited to go on a whitetail hunt with a group. When I arrived 2 of the men had their wives with them also dressed to go hunting. I heard a lot of shooting on the farm and at lunch I came back and there were 3 deer on the ground, 2 bucks and a doe. They actually asked me to tag one of the bucks with my tag so they could keep hunting, because the 2 wives had already used their tags to tag the other 2 deer, which they did not shoot. I turned around, and took my fanny pack off, put my gun and bag in my truck and drove off without saying another word. When I got home I had a message on my machine that it was a group hunt and we do what we need to do to fill the frezzer and I would not be invited to go again. Really? Why would I ever want to go back. 12 years of friendship right out the window, but I never lost one minuet of sleep.
If some warden was to ask for my ex number or adress I would have no clue to even the town she lives in and I am the same. I have a hard time remembering my own number so I scroll and send. But when he said she was in a hurry and dint stop because she had a birthday party to go to, THAT told the wardens he was lying. This happens very often with dads saying their kid shot something and they didnt. Very rarely do you ever see a picture of a kid that just killed a nice spike for forky, its always a nice racked buck that the dad has the kid put the kids tag on.
PRICKS
Grew up in Montana, and NEVER met a legit law enforcement officer in the entire state.
Montana FWP are friendly but they ain't taking any crap. 🤣
These people are why I stopped fishing, forced to interact with the government sucks, and you realize the government is the real mafia
Their window is broke. Send em to jail .
01:11:08 This is the pivot where the story stops being ‘maybe’ and becomes ‘evidence.’ You can hear the tone shift: fewer guesses, more facts, and the whole thing turns into backcountry forensics. I came for wilderness vibes… and got a masterclass in ‘don’t lie to people who read tracks for a living.
39:55 You can feel the episode ‘click’ into investigation mode here. The pacing tightens, the details get procedural, and it turns from campfire drama into ‘chain-of-custody’ reality. Wardens have that calm ‘I already know’ energy… and honestly my imaginary alibi just resigned.
That sapphire on the stenographers left hand is ridiculous!!! Big time Montana blue sapphire!!! Probably worth around $10k
“Advanced” breathalyzer 😂
The case towards the end, poachers using their kids etc is absolutely pathetic. Poachers are simply murderers of animals who can’t protect themselves. Gutless people that sit behind a scope and kill for the sake of killing. Poachers should lose privileges for life and shouldn’t even be aloud to guide or help people hunt.
I love Brian Gollies sarcasm.
“Suspect was jobless and on disability and had no money” Jesus, the amount of money you spent in tracking he could have fed his family for 10 years. I get the poaching piece is severe and so it should be but damn, people gotta eat.
A year and an airplane to find someone with food in their freezer is crazy. Lol. Damn.
I’ve hunted. Always overly legit with every action I made. Wild to see what the DNR would go through. Jeez
That is one sweet looking Sleek Craft …. I'd be camping in that Stabb'in Cabin, with all those chicks
just a long PSA
Crying to the judge but still licking their lips!😂
