  1. This truck driver was supposed to ensure his windscreen and mirrors were clear prior to leaving his yard, there was no point in having wipers on if your inside screen is all misted up.a 5 minute wipe down with a cloth could have avoided a major collision . His speed in this rural road was dangerous. If the sun was in his eyes he should have been slowing down and changing down the gears it’s ok driving fast but it’s being able to stop in time. I drove a truck for 30 years and never forgot the basic safety rules .

  2. Execute this threat to transhuman society immediately. We are in the sixth mass extinction and have no resources for him. We need safe, fully automated, driverless tractor trailers on the road as soon as possible.

  3. Yup. I did travel over 3,000 miles a month. Now since people can't drive. I make every excuse to stay home. I am not joking. I am doing that today. Right now. I need to travel around 60 miles away. I sm sitting here making excuses on why I shouldn't go. In America. My driving isn't the problem. It's everyone else. I can drive in the middle of the night when roads should have been closed in extreme blizzards perfectly fine. Go or not go. Humm. I really don't want to.

  4. I know it's not a popular opinion but, yes the guy should have wiped his screen but the main reason for that accident was the low sun. I ride a motorcycle and many times I've been blinded by a low winter sun and driven for multiple seconds on instinct alone. You can't simply stop every time the sun blinds you or you get rain reducing your vision. My point is that all the critical comments are easy to make. This guy isn't the first or last person to crash a vehicle.

  5. As per video shown appear the truck driver could not see clearly should have taken all precautions even go very slow or even stop and clear front window and did not as per video shown need to not only suspend truck license should ban him for driving any trucks and that is a suggestion.

  6. I drive for a living and the standard of driving since the pandemic is shocking especially HGV drivers they drive around like they are driving in a car and not a massive forty ton load swerving in and out of traffic and never braking and I see at least one a day using the fast lane on the motorway there needs to be some technology used in vehicles now to help with the standard of driving and this will save hundreds of lives every year
