  1. I believe I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit a few years ago. Nothing crazy or out of body. But this deep sense of peace and warmth and calm which I'd never felt before. And this urge to read the Bible, a book which had always seemed a chore. And I knew that day my life would never be the same again. Even though I don't go to church I believe the Gospel of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

  2. God is still gracious for you to experience the glimpse of His heaven because it is not your time. But when the "silver cord is broken" you will end up that no one likes. God bless.

  3. Because, you were a lost sheep. Jesus is the shepherd and he will find all who are lost and bring them into his fold. He loves us all, no matter what.

  4. I see a comment here saying God is good. The existence humans have had in this reality I don't think I would say God is good. There has to be a different reality going on than what we've been told as far as Christianity and world religions obviously. Also I don't take the word of anybody if they've only been dead for let's just say an hour or less or so. Your brain is still active your body is still active even if it's shutting down. I would not call that death. If somebody was dead with no vital signs for a month and then they came back I would say they came back from death

  5. As someone who has had an out of body experience myself I am telling you the truth there is a God and we do exsist after we die. We do have a soul.

  6. An emotional and thought-provoking story. Even as an atheist, this experience opened up a new perspective on the spiritual world and the possibility of life after death. Maybe it's not that it doesn't exist — maybe we just haven't opened our hearts enough to feel it.

  7. One thing I never quite understood was Christian’s who like or comment positively on testimonials like this. If an atheist can go to heaven then the entire Christian doctrine of eternal life only being on offer through submission to Christ or assent to the idea of his death and resurrection for the atonement for sins is complete bunk or at the very least, not the catch all that they claim it to be
