  1. If you learn martial arts so you can pick fights with multiple attackers every Saturday night you go out in the club, resulting you get beaten then you are a loser

  2. Most fights people have in mind are bar fights where someone’s ego is talking shit and then it escalates. These are precisely the easiest fights to avoid and you should because more than likely he has friends that are drunk and rowdy.

However, you can avoid those situations by not going out to the bar to begin with or just not chirping back when they are talking drunk smack.

But let’s say you end up in an altercation outside the bar environment anyway, any martial art will be fine as long as you are proficient. The problem with a striking art is that it takes a much longer time to be so good that the average guy stands zero chance, anyone can get a lucky punch in. However, if someone is an elite wrestler or skilled in BJJ against an untrained person there is almost zero chance untrained guy wins. Plus you avoid breaking their face and getting sued. In grappling you also experience live sparring every single day in practice at full speed so you are actually fighting on a daily basis which is far better preparation. But I still think knowing both a striking and grappling art is essential.

  3. I do Ninjutsu and I really like it, because it includes both ground fighting and stand-up fighting. If you want, you can also train with weapons like sticks and swords. It’s like MMA with extra options and a deep historical background

  4. There is no art that is useful against multiple attackers. This is always the point people highlight but no martial art is good in that situation. Thats like saying Jiu Jitsu doesn’t work on tanks, no shit. If it’s multiple attackers, either have a gun or run

  5. If you're fighting with a multiple people in street your fucked doesn't matter what kind of martial artist you are, if you're fighting with 1 and he is better grappler then you your fucked, so if you chosing martial art for self defense better chose wrestling bjj or something like that

  6. Muay thai,kick boxing,jiu jutsu,judo
Combine them and you got the ultimate thing to face multiple opponents. It's not like you are only going to throw a shadow punch and think you can fight multiple opponents. In That way you can't even fight one. There is a thing called fighting sense you need to train that more than what is your combat form. I have been into combat sports for 10 years I was 13 when I started.

A month ago I was playing football in a field and 4 bullies were harassing some kids they were like 20 yo. And I knocked out all four of them.

Of course it's not just training with a single opponent that led me to pull this shit. I do sparring most of the time 50 percent single opponent 50 percent multiple opponents

  7. The thing a lot of people overlook in terms of self-defense is what you do when you DO NOT want to seriously hurt the person. Everyone can win the bar fight, but what do you do when your kid or step son swings on you? Or your best friend gets hammered after a breakup and gets aggressive. BJJ is great for situations where restraining someone is top priority.

  8. why is everyone saying boxing is the best the best is mma ofc you can do anything you want box kick grapple its the best for street fights
