1. People seem to have such short memories when it comes to things like volcanic eruptions, that and the fact that the soil around them tends to be VERY good has made settling near one very tempting throughout history

5. Recently had one of those short 10 minute powerful storms here in sweden, lots of trees fell over the roads and power went out for like 10 hours so my dad made it his personal mission to clear the roads with a chainsaw by himself.
