The Crash That Almost Killed Me – Arizona MTB

The Crash That Almost Killed Me - Arizona MTB
Spread The Viralist

What started as a ride with friends in Sedona turned into one of the scariest crashes of my life. I flew off a cliff on one of the gnarliest trails in town — and somehow walked away.

This video captures the chaos, the crash, and the calm that followed. From riding the Trans-America Trail solo on my motorcycle, to reconnecting with old friends in Arizona, to floating down the Colorado River on an 18-day rafting trip through the Grand Canyon, completely off the grid. This one’s a ride I’ll never forget.

🎥 WATCH till the end for the full story and some perspective on risk, reward, and the trails we choose in life.

  1. I love the invisible full body armor you're wearing to keep safe on these extreme trails. And your full-face helmet is so light and protective! Dude, you're going on extreme adventures, wear the proper gear. Cheers!

  2. Wow I feared this would end bad as it looked bad! But you pulled it off like a boss man, ride on! As Rex himself would say "you have the strength of a grizzly, the reflexes of a puma & the wisdom of a man"

  3. Great save and great video. I was rafting the Grand the same time as you, we launched on October 2nd., 2024. From a guy that's 50 to a young guy I agree but also disagree. Our injuries do come back to haunt us when we're older, trust me I didn't believe it either, and some can be life changing. I love the carefree attitude as I was the same, but if you can try and look out for your future self. Be safe and keep living life to the fullest.

  4. Since the opening of Hardline, there's been some seriously close calls. Someone is going to get seriously Effed up on that trail before long.

  5. Dang! I saw your video prior, and now I just rode Hardline today! Now riding it in person I can’t believe you rode out of there! It’s the most terrifying line I’ve ever ridden! Awesome edit! I love the moto adventure! Rubber side down! 😉
