I'm glad Canelo was found and helped but, like many other commenters, I question why the owner would put him in the bed of the truck and not IN the truck where he deserved to be. Is Canelo not family? He probably lives outside, too. Sorry, don't love this story or that he was returned to the owner.
The Trauma this dog has experienced. Wow. But Dogs bounce back. They are So Resilient. Can't wait for the update!
These poor people and these poor animals. It is heartbreaking, but the human spirit and animal spirt is tough as nails and this will bring out the best of humanity. I pray for all the victims of the LA fires. Is is just devastating.
