Dog was probably having the time of his life with the coyotes. Should have left him alone
Unfortunate update: 💔Ghost, after living over half a year in the Las Vegas desert, surviving and cohabitating with coyotes, was confiscated by LVMPD and animal control because someone claiming that they own him showed up and caused an inappropriate confrontation at the rescuers home address unannounced with only some pictures of a similar looking dog, No proof of Veterinary care, vaccines, or microchipping. And absolutely No proof of trying to locate the animal when they claim he went missing months and months ago. Only trying to claim him after his story gained popularity online and thousands of dollars were raised for his medical care by a private party. This being a civil matter he should not have been forcefully confiscated from his caregivers and is now sitting in a terrifying shelter environment with a halt in medical care due to the complex legality of the ownership dispute. PLEASE donate if you can to his legal representation as Ghost has suffered enough.
To the sick person that dump them there hopefully you get what you deserve

If I ever hit the lottery, I swear I would spend every single dollar of it rescueing and taking care of every stray dog in the United States. I would empty every shelter and spend the rest of my life taking care of unwanted dogs. That's my dream, and maybe one day it'll happen.
