8. Is there no law in Greece, re locking a dog on a chain in the middle of nowhere.. and providing insufficient shelter and food? Someone should chain up the 'neanderthals' who do this! Pure stupidity and cruelty! Thought this was a fairly civilised country! Obviously not!

25. How would you visit the shelter from Australia (post covid)?

    Would you do Australia to London, then London to Greece/Turkey to Crete? Or Australia to UAE to Turkey to Crete? Since the shelter is away from town would taking a taxi be expensive? That said I would hire a car as coming from Australia and being autistic i think driving in another country be too much.

    Hi Saskia, Max, Jumpy, Rena, Reno, Prince and every beautiful baby!
    It breaks my heart 💔that these poor dogs lived through lives of horror before Taki saved them and now they just wait & wait & wait to be adopted. Certainly not their fault or Taki's, but it's just so sad that there aren't more people who want to love an Animal in need & take care of them.

42. wow. 500 dogs, the ones from chains aggressive when they were found, and almost no problems with aggression in the entire shelter. That tells you doesn't it? It's people who cause the problems. Bravo to Takis.

45. Good night SAINT TAKIS. Ivan looks great thanks to you and your hard work, devotion and love. He looks very calm and gets along with the rest of the dogs. You said you are busy and you have a lot of work and looking at all the dogs you have now I can't imagine how you can cope. 46. I wish someone nice would come and adopt old Max, the German Shepherd. I would if I could; he looks like a wonderful, nice dog ( who doesn’t pull on a leash also).
