1. Remember farmers used to milk cows with their hands for thousands of years. My friend told me if you wash the nipple and wash your hands it doesn't need to be pasteurized.

12. Yeah, where Louis Pasteur developed pasteurization which seemed like it preserved things, but “Fresh” raw milk, it’s surely more healthy than other milk if from a Jersey cow.
    But the government allowed jelly companies to remove pectin from jellies, which a company finds a cheaper gelling agent, I guess someone gets a good bonus. Yet pectin will make nails grow no two ways about it and probably contributes to cartilage as well as being said to be a sponge to toxins.
    They could mandate that bread be of a higher quality that has less sugar and has fiber which could lower cancer risks. Pasta being made from wheat can be mandated to have fiber.
    But the government as the FDA do not do anything.
    Capitalism itself is good it inspired many things, but it’s bad capitalism when such is permitted. Then, before Louis Pasteur, people been drinking raw milk around the globe from one animal or another, which raw milk was fine for 1,000’s of years, until the 21st century when more people desire better, more wholesome and healthy food and drink and suddenly it’s not acceptable??
    There’s an issue somewhere!

14. I Russia I grew up drinking only raw milk. Best milk ever. The closest thing that faintly resembles it in US is organic grass fed milk.

15. Actually it's not a government thing, she was sued by so many people for spreading misinformation. Sometimes y'all get too carried away with conspiracies.

    So here's what happened;

    She hires people on her farm, so that way she can do these cute pictures and farm aesthetic videos. Then after the videos done, hair comes down, she's wearing luxury clothes.

    Now the people she hired, don't have skills to farm, any farmer will tell you that it's very tricky to actually handle farming. It takes years, it's not some picture-esque lifestyle.

    Anyways long story short she got sued by parents and has effectively killed children and she's currently under a lot of legal fire. Guys it's okay to acknowledge that what FARMERS SHARE WITH US, is not ALWAYS BECAUSE OF THE GOVERNMENT.

    -FARMERS GAVE US THIS INFORMATION AND WE LEARNED FROM THEM DECADES AGO. I know everyone wants to be reactive, but health and safety violations exist because we told one another. It's actually a huge lie that the government tells us anything related to health. It's usually a Dr, a farmer, even your God dayum Wendy's employee can spill the beans and spread awareness.

30. Here in the UK, alcohol is one of the only things that hasn't increased in price for years. I haven't drank in 3 years, its still the same price as it was back then.

I learned about a month ago a bit of the history around the milk cows that were blamed for making people sick. the farmers were poor and feed for the cows was cheap, when they had abundant access to the veg slop discarded from the beer making process. so the cows were being poisoned and by extension the people who drank their milk were as well. sorry about the specifics related, my memory isn't great. so don't trust me. look into it for yourself.

36. i’m living in Ireland and there’s a gas station out in the country on the way to the next town and it has a fresh milk dispensary in a shed out back , straight from the farm to a glass milk jug you reuse , between Listowel and Tralee , County Kerry if anyone was curious

I saw a video of a doctor saying “some people say ‘I drink raw milk all the time and I haven’t gotten sick’ that’s not science that’s survivorship bias.” And that made me pause because why are only the people that get sick from drinking raw milk a part of a statistic but ALL the people that don’t get sick aren’t? Why don’t healthy people matter?
