  1. Absolutely horrible for everyone involved. Guy was just sitting there doing his job and someone just turns the lights off in a split second.

  2. I'm so sorry this happened to this trooper and his family. My condolences to you and your family. I thank you for your service as mystep son is also a police officer. You guys are out there every day in harms way for us. Take care and be safe.❤

  3. I find it hard to believe that the truck driver did not know he is to stay in the right lane. Truck drivers are taught this. Whether the states enforce it or not truckers are NOT supposed to drive in the left lane for safety reasons. Semi trucks have a lot of blind spots. All semi trucks usually have a sticker on the back of their trucks to let other drivers know to stay at least 500ft away from the back of their trucks because if u get to close they can not see u. Same with the sides when driving beside a semi truck when u get to a certain point they cannot see you out of the side mirror. It is safer for you and the truck driver to not drive right beside them or to close behind them, if possible it is better to pass them.

  4. Every one of these incidents seems like there's way too many people there and they're all just standing around talking to each other getting confused no one in control. Absolute shit storm.

  5. As a Portuguese i have to say that, no matter how America is in political terms, the emergency personel and the police always show up in big numbers!
I pray for both of them!😢❤

  6. I'm so sorry for his family and brother and sisters in uniform. It's a great loss to our country. Thoughts and prayers, for all who put themseves in harms way to protect us.

  7. I mean i understand but they should be doing the same for other victims. Not this case necessarily if she’s already passed. It’s your buddy I know, but so many of these videos they do full on escorts for police victims but a regular civilian victim doesn’t get that.

  8. You know, it sure would be nice if they treated all civilians in serious crashes, etc like this! Only when officers are hurt that they'll escort them and stop traffic

  9. Not sure why the officer pulled over a semi truck on the shoulder….not ever Safe! He would be alive if waited for a designated safe place

  10. Escort to the hospital What makes this different. Would they do the same for you. also the 40 minute inspection is what caused this. Why not go to the next exit to conduct the safety check on the truck instead of putting all in danger.

  11. For safety we are stopping travelers on the interstate. What about officer safety. Two dead over a truck driving in the left hand lane. Why the 40 minute inspection on the interstate. Why was this required. Why not cite the driver and send him on his way.

  12. I feel anybody who's epileptic or has medical disabilities should not be allowed to drive for this specific reason not only do they kill their self but they kill everyone around them

  13. What's crazy is I know it's not practical and a lot of of reasons why an officer wouldn't but possibly if the cops are on the highway like that when they get in their car even just to do paperwork possibly fasten your seat belt. Maybe that would helped this officer stay alive. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I'm not saying he did anything wrong I'm just making a assumption

  14. no one talking abt how his family just gave him 2 days to fight before pulling the plug on his life, when he was laitrally awake after accident…just 2 days?? really???

  15. Horrible to watch. The way the Police Department handled this situation from the start to finish was beyond words.

I hope they painted the roads with "No Trucks" and "Truck Lane" every 1/2 mile etc. It's a shame that in politics things only changes when someone gets killed.
