I've been ignored for 2.5 yrs. I'm a white mid age woman. I had major neck surgery. 4 days ( yes 4 days) after surgery. At home I passed out from standing, fell back full force on a hard wood floor. Lost consciousness, confusion..all of it. It took 2.5 yrs for my spine doc to finally say I got a brain injury and I now suffer from FND. I can't believe it took that long to be heard. Worse part is. I took my husband this time. He said everything I've been saying. It took him to say it.
The problem in this country isn't immigrants … It's the illegal ones… I will never understand how these people can't understand the difference.

I'm kinda surprised that no one has seen the suicide red flags with Robbie. Not wearing a helmet because it doesn't matter, going to a remote location so he wouldn't be found, getting his affairs in order; the ED, his house, seeming happier than last season, ignoring Abbot. And he has nothing to lose. He's unmarried, no kids, we don't know if Jake has forgiven him yet, no pets, no coworkers that he's friends with.
I've heard people calling our new medical clerk a lot more intense than Dana. For me, that's called hitting the ground running. They are in such chaos, they need someone who knows how to run analog an hour ago. Let her cook!
I love that it's the nurses that actually save Javadi's patient. She didn't put the patient on the board so Papa nurse tries to put a patient where Javadi's patient is and Dana tells her not only to put her on the board, but to present to "someone with an MD at the end of their name." Then she goes "kids" under her breath. I agree that calling her a "nepo baby" wasn't fair, but the true problem was the baby part. She's been trained with so much technology that her dependence on it causes her to make a mistake. Like Whitaker states it's totally understandable and they were able to catch it, but Javadi is mature enough to see the gravity of her misses and says "she could've died." I thought this was such a well written and acted segment of the episode.
It seems to have gotten better, but when listening to the podcast on Castbox, the ads sometimes are so incredibly loud compared to the show itself. I have to adjust my volume drastically between the two. This episode was better, but please keep that in mind! I love the podcast and the show 💕

I think the writers are bluffing. I think the signs that Robby might get in a motorcycle crash or even kill himself are now too numerous, they’re faking us out. I’m guessing his friend Duke will come in after a crash and make Dr. Robby rethink everything.
Garcia Santos is a PROBLEM story-wise, professionally, etc. Who does that with a R1?!
Frankly, Garcia making plans when she ostensibly had plans with Santos was rude and dehumanizing. I worry about their power dynamic.

I would say Dr Robbie, Dr king (but she has to get of that head space of the depositions) and Dr Joy. Whitaker would work as the attending but he was the supervising attending over Javidi’s patient which they both missed. Those are my all star trio for the water park chaos

21:16 you juggle humanity, caring for the patient effectively, doing the right thing, doing no harm, going the extra mile, catching near misses, getting a save now and then,….. all while keeping in mind that you have a license to protect because that is what feeds your family.
15:24 same for sickle cell….primarily black illness and they are gaslighted to the pit of humanity. I always believed my sickle cell patients. ❤
