  1. I love this death. If he can, he tries to comfort the soul as much as he can.
The dog got to be the grim barker, and, death comforted someone by comforting the dog, as the dead kid loved the grim barker.
The cat got to see her mom loved by the grandma who loved them
The koala I’m not so sure
The lion got to be a king
The bunny got to see the fresh greens they dreamed of, due to the ones that died becoming part of deaths realm
Despite how the fox was saved by life, death tried to comfort it, saying he was SORRY he couldn’t save it (he even loves losing to life)
We didn’t see death take the dog, but either the dog was comforted out of frame, or they already knew and were at peace, even thinking to bring something for their owner to remember them by
Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the budgie comforted 💔
Poor Henry didn’t get comforted fully onscreen either 💔💔 atleast he was freed

  2. I love when death is portrayed as benevolent rather than evil.

Death will come no matter what, the more death, the more work he has to do. The least he could do is be respectful, and kind to the souls he's taking with him

  3. I love how they show death in these comics, death in a lot of depictions is evil, he wants everybody dead, everything dead. But in here he just cares, he isn't cold or uncaring, he comforts souls that are lost and need it, he's soft and instead of liking more souls he doesn't like it, he hates it or just dislikes it in general
