Imagine if she stuck that landing with only one ski. Everyone would've lost their minds.
What really uninformed NBC comment about the ski slipping out of the binding. No, Sarah slipped out of the binding which either wasn't set tight enough, had snow or debris packed under her foot so the binding wouldn't fully latch or the binding springs failed. My guess is that after her last run of the previous day the binding springs were loosened so they wouldn't lose their strength and were improperly retightened by her or the team 'mechanic'..
