why do people use some tier 2 or 1 items over tier 3 like that lighter spirit box and candle
losing sanity worth of one pill to just roll out one of so many ghosts. 😀
1 also easier way to find a poltergeist if you pile up iteams into a nice pile if it throws all if it on you its a poster guest if it only throws 1 out of time its not

The easiest way when solo is to learn your average sanity drain when using good lighting discipline. Then when you get a speak box response you go wait in a well lit room (like living room on Tangewoo) for a couple minutes. Now run to the truck along your previously lit escape path and check sanity. If it is significantly lower than you expected and you weren't ghost evented, it's a Moroi… if it is way more than expected you were either in a room with more than one light and one wasn't on, or you got hit with a Jinn power box ability.
It only for professional player and lower lol

Candles only mitigate sanity drop in darkness, don't stop it fully

Do all ghosts have their own character model, or does it cycle through? For example: All banshees look a certain way when hunting.

This still works some what. I tested this in a new way where I also went in light with a candle after spirit box and every ghost with spirit box my sanity didnt drain EXCEPT FOR a moroi. So if you do this test right now make sure your in light because this has been working in new phasmo for me.
I had one last night for my first play ever, and of course I couldn't have a candlestick at that point 🙁
