28. At first when i watched anime i hated Near when he all of a sudden was shown as pure genius whose deduction is beyond human potential, but i don't care about that anymore, his themes are also cool so i guess whatever, still L were more interesting.

    and in the manga AND the series, near captures light either way. Yes, the anime had a slightly worse ending but near still captures light. The only difference is that the manga is more satisfying and brutal than the series.
    Some people might comment that ‘near was literally growing up to be a version of L, that’s how good L was!’ You do realise that after near bet light, he continued to have successors of his own.

    Because wammy died when L died, the orphanage turned less strict but the orphanage was still finding successors, just in a less strict way.

    ❤ Remember the whole Takada incident with mello? Well takada was basically light’s and teru’s source of infomation. Light was literally the one who decided to kill her off all because of mello. In the warehouse, teru did exactly what light wanted him to. Light expected that teru already knew what To do with the notebooks but he didn’t realise that he never actually told him that in the first place. In conclusion to that point, mello basically messed everything up for light so it’s both mello and light’s fault. ❤
