34. I was an exchange student in Austria in college. The students I was with from the States had never heard of Krampus. We got a cash course in Krampus folklore when we went to the Christmas market in the center of Salzburg and came across them: huge furry horned figures with bells. It was something else. Apparently in town they are pretty tame but in the countryside people get taken into cars, driven to the outskirts of the village at night and are made to walk back home. They are really scary in the countryside.

37. People wandering pitch black woods is real. How are they able to do it? I worked industrial construction. I didn't take the nightly hotel except during bad weather. I camped in local, state and fed forests nearby. Every single location I parked was remote without a soul in sight. But every night in pitch black one or two people would mysteriously show up wandering while I was sleeping. I had to set up deer tree stands to sleep above and get night vision to see who was doing this. It's so bizarre. the only answer I have is they are possessed and that spirit or demon can see through anything beyond our limited prism. Maybe drug induced? I don't know. Seems they were looking to loot, find food, find alcohol. I could never figure out where they came from. I would hike a little around the area first. Where do they go when winter comes?
