New video from the Minneapolis ICE shooting scene is raising new questions about what happened moments before a 37-year-old woman was shot and killed.
The Department of Homeland Security says an ICE agent fired in self-defense during a targeted operation. But people who’ve watched the video say it appears the woman was trying to drive away from officers at the time shots were fired.

Number 1: no one knows if officer had a hurt foot or even cramp in his leg that prevented him from jumping out of the way and that still could’ve caused him to get hit and dragged like he had gone through previously. If she refused to comply with commands and accelerated her vehicle (doesn't matter which direction) then she becomes a weapon. How do the officers know what she is going to do next? Justified shooting

"A reasonable officer would have moved to the side of the vehicle immediately and not be standing in front of the vehicle". "Certainly if there was enough time for the officer to draw and fire their handgun there was enough time for the officer to move out of the way." Kinda says it all.
But if that's not enough add that the officer was in violation of his training and all the DHS protocols for what would be considered a traffic stop. And that's besides the fact that by doing so he not only put his life in danger but by discharging his weapon he put the lives of all the other officers and any predestination lives in danger from his line of fire. Immobilization First: Training for vehicle extractions (removing an occupant) emphasizes immobilizing the vehicle first-either by "pinning" it with other cars or removing the keys-to ensure it cannot become a weapon.
Federal Use of Force Policy
Department of Justice (DOJ) guidelines, which govern federal agencies like ICE, include specific restrictions on firing at moving vehicles:
Duty to Move: Agents are instructed to move out of the path of a vehicle rather than using deadly force, whenever an "objectively reasonable means of defense" exists.
Restrictions on Fire: Firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless a person inside is threatening deadly force by means other than the vehicle, or the vehicle is being used as a weapon and no other defense (like stepping aside) is possible.
Prohibition on Disabling: Agents are strictly prohibited from firing at a vehicle solely to disable it or to stop a fleeing suspect who does not pose an immediate deadly threat.
In the Minneapolis incident, while the DHS claims the agent followed his training after being struck, critics and training experts have argued that placing himself in a position to be struck contradicts standard tactical procedures intended to de-escalate and ensure officer safety.

I needed to see this video because I feel like ice was wrong for killing that woman. She showed no aggression at all! Her car was also not considered a deadly weapon in this matter from every view you could imagine! Masked murders smh. There not even national security so you cant do that! The shooter was 1st on the scene and had already walked around Ms. Good’s vehicle. She and her partner talked to him. He was taking a video with phone in his right hand. He had already had an assessment of the situation when he walked in front of the car for the second time. That’s when other officers show up, get out of their vehicles and aggressively yell and attempt to commandeer Ms. Good’s vehicle. Instantaneously, the shooter switches phone video into his left hand and withdraws his weapon with his right hand while Ms. Good shifts from reverse to forward gear, turns her wheels to the right (i. e., away from all agents) towards her only escape path. The moment her vehicle shifts from reverse into forward, the first shot occurs followed by the two side shoots. At no time do her tires spin thus indicating she did not floor the accelerator. This slower pace allowed the shooter more time to fire those second and third shoots. No officers offer aid; moreover agents deny a witness who claims to be a physician to provide 1st aid. This shooting and the absence of first aid should all be crimes.

My parents taught me when the police tell you to do something you do it. If an officer was standing in front of my vehicle yelling for me to get out and I drove my car at him… I would 100% expect to be shot.
