Russian soldiers were notorious for rapping and robbing entire occupied villages. Villages would move women to live in nearby caves and I know stories of elders getting robbed of their watches and things on their way to church.

Common tactic, dead soldiers are easy to deal with, injured soldiers take resources and personnel to deal with. That’s why anti personnel mines were invented, better to blow a limb off than kill the soldier. Also the screaming from the wounded lowers morale and make soldiers more cautious

It was war, what do you expect? Pilots weren't supposed to shoot at fliers in parachutes either but that didn't stop either the Japanese doing it or the Nazis, did it? It seemed that if your nation didn't sign the Geneva Convention (both the Japanese in the Pacific and the Russians in Europe) then honor and integrity were off the table and it was good luck out there. However, while the Wehrmacht often tried to comply, the Waffen SS were so morally bankrupt that after D-Day and Bastonge their atrocities were so brazen that Allied soldiers frequently offered no quarter.and it was open season on any SS members that were captured.

I worked with a guy who was a sniper in the British Commando's in WW2. He wouldn't say much at all of what he did other than that he "got a few" while in France, then Germany.

Heard a yugoslavian civil war sniper talkin. they shot on civilians. "If you see a couple, dont go for the man. shot the girl. if you shot the man first the girl will run away, making it harder to hit. if you shot the girl first the man will try to save her and you get both."

This is the first lesson any sniper learns after learning how to load their rifle. It is hardly a trick to wound someone in order to get more targets & opportunities from those who try to help the wounded. Have another little think & try to come up with some of the other methods snipers use to get the job done. 🤔🫡

Their evil was not good but important to note an eye for an eye measure, not even to the same extent as the Russian Bolshevik Jews murdered Christian women and children but a less than 1/4 fraction. Yet, here we are attacking sovereign nations without congressional votes woth our president after sending money to Israel doing attacking sovereign nations. Despicable. Russia copied our private military used in Middle East and we called them evil for it, while our private military killed innocents too. Evil is as evil does, not says.
