6. Inane and pointless sentencing periods are for campaigns, not to "Due justice". Take the 1st judge, William Sylvester . He has been retained every cycle since. PRIOR to this, 2001, and to current…he handles Divorces and hears cases revolving around Child abuse. You then have to consider he was picked to ensure he did not lean into the mental health aspect as that judge has NEVER granted any accused a mental health diagnosis defense hearing.
   So, sure, he deserved death but got life…then rest was pandering to his superiors on the state level, who personally appointed him and who have spearheaded his retention cause every 4 years since 2008. Politics 🙂 Not saying he did bad or wrong, but that these silly-assed sentences are lip service. I make no claims above that cannot be found with 2-3 simple google searches and a few pages read, so feel free to get CURIOUS and not let the optics of an act cloud your mind 😉 Personaly , were I a judge, I would have done my best to cheat and weight the panel, to ensure he was put to death. It's a shame that Colorado considers itself more progressive than Texas, or that would have been the case.

15. It’s very well known that the gymnastics community does not have an issue with what this guy did to these girls. If you know about it. The fact that the gymnastics community didn’t actually say anything about it tells you that that is an accepted practice. 500 girls? Are you serious? You guys need to really take a look at your sport. Parents should be aware of this. I know about it and I don’t have any kids. I’ve read about it all over the place. Why are parents not doing something about this? This one guy gets in trouble. But you know it happens all over the place. These are young girls. And they want to enjoy gymnastics. And you’re letting them be molested by “doctors.” parents who are very aware of their kids and the sports they’re in would know what is going on. And you can’t tell me they don’t. It’s disgusting.

16. I don’t know why taxpayers have to keep this person alive in prison. This person is not going to help society at all. They’re going to be in prison for the rest of their life. They should be killed for doing what they did. It doesn’t make any sense. capital punishment makes sense. Why do we have to foot the bill to keep him alive after he did what he did? 18. I've watched the entire Darrell Brooks trial more than once, and I highly recommend it. He is a complete idiot who thinks he's the smartest man in the room. Warning: You will be extremely infuriated by him.

I know I already commented but that attorney for the case of that baby being forcefully aborted by that woman wanting to pass the baby off as her own is making me so mad. “This is inappropriate” and her client’s actions weren’t? I get that lawyers must be willing to defend anyone guilty or not but that attorney is evil

21. I wonder how James Holmes felt when he realized he had killed a child (outside of the unborn baby), given he considered the time to carry out the attack to avoid harming children. What a sad event

22. I've intensively researched just about All of these cases and 99% believe based upon the evidence the Prosection and the jury was correct in their assertion and guilty verdicts.

    The only one that to this day, where I'm on the fence and deep down inside don't agree with is Richard Allen. He "may" have done it….but based on his mental condition while incarcerated and constantly being persuaded by law enforcement that he did it, he confessed. But there are SEVERAL others that were never interviewed and the landowner's own wife contacted the local department and begged them to investigate her husband because she believed he had something to do with the two girls. Cops never did and he died a couple of years later. The wife still begged them to look into it, the cops never did. The widow truly believes Allen is innocent and her deceased husband was the true murderer.

    There's several pieces that just don't add up, they have zero DNA evidence to Allen… nothing linking him is found (and if you say he had the same ammunition as the one discovered near their bodies, half the people in that county had the same type of ammunition it was extremely common).

    That's the only one that bothers me a lot, and how quickly the judge suppressed and dismissed the defenses argument saying it was unsupported, when the defense provided a highly accredit expert, facts on demographic of that cult, how that cult is a Wyt Nationalist Group, proud and open members…some that were sheriff's deputies/department….

    Idk? That one doesn't add up to me. Maybe he did, but my gut is telling me he didn't.

23. I don't understand people who support death sentence. These criminals are already fed up of their lives they don't care if they die. So why would you give them what they want? Having to live every day thinking about how life could have been different if they never committed the crime seems to be the best punishment in my eyes.

41. The justice system really complicates things unnecessarily. The Colorado kid shoulda been publicly hanged 3 days later so people would have time to travel to witness justice

42. I’m so glad that sexual predators don’t get the potential relief of the death penalty. They deserve to rot in cells, living in fear, and praying for death to come and relieve them, rather than being given that escape. The death penalty is too quick, and they deserve to have their suffering prolonged for as long as possible before they’re dragged into hell.
